I love this sandwich. It is so easy to make that you dont even need to think twice before making it. It also gives you a great mix of nutrients required for the body. Bean spread is rich in protein. Bread is a source of fiber and carbohydrate. Veg. provide various minerals and vitamins. I can survive on it day n night.
You need:
You need:
- piadina bread
- bean dip (boil 50gm soya beans along with spring onion green stem, salt, 2 green chilies and chunk of ginger and garlic. Drain out the water and mix the leftover in the processor with 1tsp light soy sauce and worchester sauce)
- tomatoes chopped finely
- onion chopped finely
- mushrooms
- capsicum chopped finely
- lettuce
- black pepper and salt
- red chili paste (if desired)
- tomato sauce
- mayo (additional 10 calories)
- cheese slice (additional 30 calories)
Fold the piadina bread, spread chili paste on one side. I am chili lover. Stuff it with bean spread, lettuce, veggies and cheese. Add tomato sauce and black pepper. Hog on!! Dont stuff too much in it as it will start
falling apart...though i like it that ways :) Thats why mine is falling out in the pic.
You can even cut the bread into two and stuff the filling inside.
Tip: Replace the soy bean spread with that of kidney bean spread or cottage cheese spread or tuna or minced chicken. You are free to explore just anything with this wrap. Fill it up up whatever you like.
